About Us: LJI operates 15 family homes for orphaned and abandoned children in South Asia. Our primary objective is to help these children become difference makers in their nation.  Our story began in 2015 with a vision: to provide excellent education to the children that were living in our Family Homes. Today, we serve approximately 230 students from diverse socioeconomic backgrounds, including children from surrounding villages, well-off locals, and expat families. Our school is a place of transformation with both expat and local teachers—a Kingdom-Class school where students learn, play, dream, and grow in a safe, joyful environment.

Your Role
As a Data Coach at LJI’s school based in South Asia, you will play a dual role in teaching and mentoring. Key responsibilities include:

• Lead the design and implementation of a comprehensive differentiation strategy to meet diverse student needs.
• Provide professional development on differentiated instruction and innovative teaching practices.
• Collaborate with teachers to create and refine instructional plans that address varying learning styles and abilities.
• Analyze student performance data to identify gaps and inform intervention strategies.
• Oversee and support the development of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and personalized learning initiatives.
• Serve as a mentor and instructional coach for teachers implementing differentiation strategies.
• Research and introduce cutting-edge educational methods to enhance instruction and student engagement.
• Develop scalable resources and frameworks to support differentiation across future Dream Schools.

Qualifications: The qualifications for this position are the following: 

• Mature Christian faith
• A strong commitment to social justice and advocacy on behalf of vulnerable populations
• Minimum of a bachelor's degree, preferably in Education and teaching experience 
• Ability to work well in cross-cultural contexts and sensitivity to different cultures; experience working abroad preferred
• Ability to work well within a group setting and maintain a positive outlook while working within challenging circumstances

Position Type: Full-Time, Overseas, Support-Raised*

*If hired, the candidate will be required to raise financial support to cover his/her own salary, benefits, and expenses. Raising support is a key example of the body of Christ supporting its members and joining in the fight against injustice. LJI will provide administrative and prayer support throughout the process, as well as guidance and resources to build up a support base. Please prayerfully consider whether you may be called to step out in faith and raise support for this position.This is a support-raised position, but you won’t walk this journey alone. We’ll guide you every step of the way, providing tools and resources to help you build a support base.
